This Emergency First Aid Course can be adapted to suit the particular needs of your industry and is delivered in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (N.Ireland) 1982.

This one day course includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence.

  • Aims of first aid
  • Content of a First Aid Kit
  • Patient Examination
  • Recovery position
  • The Chain of Survival (includes full CPR sequence)
  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Foreign body airway obstruction
  • Wounds and bleeding
  • Injuries to bones and joints
  • Burns and scalds
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final examination.
